 Sub Woofer not Woofing!

Has anyone replaced their sub woofer?
If so, with what and from where?
I don't want to go back to OEM, but I also don't want to modify my car to install an aftermarket sub either. I'm not looking for anything to vibrate my car and the cars next to me, just something that sounds deep and crisp.

TIA

www.z3bass.com It won't blow your plastic window out but does has a nice hit to it. Relatively discreet and factory looking. Or replace both of the stock speakers in the stock enclosure. Might be difficult to get the volume right but you may not care.

That looks like what I'm looking for!

Thank you!

Look into a Sunfire sub. It is a BMW accessory and it is a direct bolt in replacement for the stock sub and sub amp. It sounds a whole lot better that the stock sub. You have to get it from a dealer but shop around at some of the dealers that give discounts and the price is not bad concidering that is straight bolt in and stock.

Mine's bad too. Thanks for the info.

I just replaced mine witha Z3 bass and a new amp this week. Although some may disagree, it provides enough bass for me and most importantly maintains the factory look. Due to financial reasons, I'm still running the factory speakers in the kick panels and they don't handle the additional power from the new amp very well. Looks like I'll have to upgrade them sooner than I planned to!
