 neon clock

I had this made recently. It turned out nice. It's 20" in diameter. I got the artwork (in EPS format, hence scalable w/o degradation) from allthelogos.com

Wasn't cheap; roughly $400.

Should have done a group buy.

Gosh!

Sort of... you have to pick just about everything. Bezel paint color (or chrome), numbering font, numbering scheme, numbering color, face color, hand colors, neon color, the artwork, etc. Can also have things on the glass; I originally had checkered flags around the rim of the glass, but nixed them when I saw the mock-up. That's the other thing... they do a computer mock-up first, and don't make the clock until you approve the mock-up.

If I do another one, I'll probably do it w/ no numbers and have the roundel cover the whole face inside the neon.

The same place will make 36" ones, with neon lettering (8 letters at the top, 8 letters at the bottom) and multiple rows of neon around the perimeter. Those are thousands of dollars. Beautiful but out of my price range. They apparently cater to bars, etc. and don't sell a lot of clocks for home use.

For those who've stayed at Tapoco Lodge at the Tail of the Dragon, there's a similar clock on the wall there, with a 'Triumph' logo on it.

I've got mine, I'll let others entertain the idea of a group buy. Have fun arguing about all the options.

That is one good looking clock. You may have seen the one in my garage that I made from the ideas that Ron had. It is similar in basic format, but not nearly that large or detailed. Good job!

PM me if you're interested, I'll send you info. I suspect they still have my artwork and setup, so you could get around that part of the cost ($55) if you didn't make any changes.

I'm starting to think I might buy a second one... it looks good enough to have one in the house instead of just the garage.
