aka Stupid Is As Stupid Does Convoy

After 1600 miles, 6 tanks of gas, 2 4-packs of red bull, lord knows how much coffee and beer, a bottle of capt morgan and about 15 hrs of sleep all in 4 days I am back from HC 05.

What a wonderful time! It goes by faster and faster each year. This year I blame deciding to start our convoy trip at midnight.........rather than sleep for a few hours after my 13 hr day at work, I drank a pot of coffee and hit the road to meet Alpina22 and so began HC. When we arrived the fun had begun without us so napping was NOT an option......it was all "hellos" and "how have u beens" and "have u seen what Ive done to my car this year" and me wildly searching for a beer to set my head straight after my looooong day. Then onto Bob's Buns Of Steel Dinner (thank u again Bob!!).......some sleep, some vendors, more cars and long lost friends.....then line up for the panoramic picture at a truly obscene hour (time can not be disclosed for proprietary reasons )......this year I had the pleasure of being in the coupe pano as well, so I stalked the "red bull girls" until it was time to line up......after a failed attempt to nap it was time to get ready for the saturday dinner.....BMW really does a great job and I wish the leadership at my company had 1/2 the sense of humor that they do. More beer and banter til its time to sleep and pack the car again.

Worth every minute!! Was great to see everyone I did and next year I am going to find a way to sleep even less so I can meet those I didn't.
