 325i or 325ci!!

Hi. I am about to buy my first BMW car and is having quite a dilemma. I have gone and checked these cars out ... read quite a few write ups on these two and test drove both. I like either one... so I thought about posting on this board to check with you previous or current owners of these cars. I am sure I will learn a few things from everyone's posts and will somehow help me with my decision on which car to buy in the end.

I understand the 2006 325ci is a carry over from this year and that the 325i (and 330i) are both enhanced in 2006 with all its glory. I am driving a 4-door sedan right now and is thrilled of the idea of owning a 2-door coupe for a change. The thought of having an upgraded 325i is likewise tempting. On the other hand I am sure the coupe is nothing to beaten behind. Can't seem to make up my mind at the present time.

Your thoughts and feedbacks between these two great cars will be most certainly appreciated.

Thanks!

I was advised that BMWs are difficult to steal. How was your car stolen?

Pros. (OC, probably eastern european)
I was only at the movies for less than two hours.
They stole 7 E46 and 3 X5 in an area of about 6 square miles in a week. Seems they had a supply of modified ECU´s for the E46 and the X5. So they broke into them, changed the ECU and drove off. (Someone actually saw his car beeing driven away). Funny thing, when I went to my dealer 3 days after my car was stolen to have them unregister the car, the salesmans E46 had been stolen the day before, close to where mine was nicked.

BMW may be difficult to steal, but any car can be stolen by true pros.

Nice trivia: The head of Daimler Chrylser, Mr. Schremp had his personal (and heavily armoured) Mercedes nicked while he left it for less than 20 Minutes in Frankfurt.

David Beckham (worldfamous soccer player) had his armoured X5 stolen in Barcelona.

The world truely is not a safe place for fine automobiles.
