Will the 2006 Z4 with the larger 255hp be available in an 06' model? And when will it arrive, I see the new 550i just got released. Trying to decide on a new 05' with a super lease rate or just wait for the 06'.

I would wait for them all to come out, the new Z3 the new M and the new MZ (then choose) hopefully save a few pennies in the process.

Just pulled the trigger on a new 05' Z4............The dealer gave me more money for my 04' 325cic than I paid in July and almost $6k off a pretty loaded Z4 3.0. They even found the color I wanted and are shipping it next week. I'm so glad I talked the wife into a 2 seater after 6 weeks with the 325cic, nice car but no M3 convertible. I think we will have this roadster a while.

Yes... the new motors will go in the '06 Z4... that should start production in January but this will actually depend on how many Z4's we have left over. Do a search... I posted this info some time ago... there will be Z4 3.0i w/ 215hp... a Z4 3.0iS w/ 255hp... and an S54 based M roadster with at least 333hp... some reports claim 350-360hp... we shall see... '06 will be a great year!!!

The mag is unconfirmed speculation... I am an inside source... there is no better (accurate) picture then the one I can paint for you...
