 Clutch Delay Valve in Boston?

Has anyone in the greater metro Boston area done the mod (or had it done) to swap out their CDV on a 2001-2002 2.5 or 3.O Z3?

Have you seen Dave Zeckhausen's write up on this?

You know this is interesting, I had the same problem with mine. Instead of having the valve "modified" and putting it back in, I simply had it taken out of the mix.
New Mod: CDV delete. I know this might start some controversy, but this was deleted during the motor swap.

No controversy. The M cars had a restricted orifice in the line instead of the separate CDV, and many folks here have replaced the line with one having no restriction. Some had a stainless steel one made, or bought the UUC one. Ron Stygar planned to replace his with the regular Z3 one sans CDV. Don't know if he did it or not since he doesn't post anymore.

I've done it on my 03 325. Its quite simple. I go to school at Northeastern and will be back the 1st, if you need help.

I don't think your car has one?
My friend and I did his 2000 2.3 and we could not find any delay valve in the hose or pre/post the hose. I'm not sure if the 2.5/3.0 are the same though.
What he gained was a SS clutch line.
However in my M roadster/coupe there was one in the hose.
