I have a 2001 Z3 3.0 that has the non-sport seats. I have located a set of sport seats that have the same interior color as mine, but they are from a 2000 Coupe.
First Question: Will they fit without any mods to the mounting arrangement underneath?
Second Question: They don't seem to have the seat belt guide on the side of the seat backs. Can anyone answer if those little platic things are necessary.
Thanks

I haven't heard of any difference between m and non m seats not being interchangable. You should be able to do a quick measure front bolt to rear bolt and check the M seats hole dimensions to be sure. rflores2323 swapped his seats for m seats. check with him.

Those "little plastic things" (Seat belt Buckles : 52 10 8 410 505 & 506) might be required by your states inspection. They appear to be replaceable/addable per the ETK. The ETK also shows the same seat rails used for both seat models.

I do have a roadster, 2001 3.0.
I'll have to check on the state inspection thing - thanks for suggesting that - I hadn't even thought of that.
The seat belt guides are addable, but according to a very reputable shop in the area that does nothign but seats and tops (Adolph's), it is rather an involved affair to install them.
BTW, not show my complete ignorance, but what is the "ETK"?
