 Update on Crashed s54

My car is currently on a lift and in pieces. This is whats happening so far...

1. The suspension took all of the impact, so there is absolutley no frame damage. All damaged suspension is being replaced with OEM parts.

2. No motor damage. I might need new exhaust, from the cats back. OEM or Aftermarket? Any suggestions?

3. Some body work, but not a whole lot, surpsingly.

All in all, the damage wasn't really bad. It's going to cost an arm and a leg, but that is expected with european cars. Just thought I would share the updated information. I am hoping to have pictures uploaded soon.

Take care!

And they'll both clear an E-36 M3 (dual mounting ear) differential cover. The OEM system won't without some work.

Thanks for the encouragement. He is pretty happy with the way things turned out. Its also been a good experience (considering he circumstances). I got to talk with and meet a lot of really cool people. I met with John Handal over at European Motoroworks and talked with him for a while, and he was very helpful. I am planning on going to him in the future for any aftermarket mods I might be doing down the road. I had a lengthy phone converstation with Mike Gregorian, who was also very helpful and pointed me in the right direction regarding where to take my car and what to look out for. He spent at least 40 minutes on the phone with me, answering questions, giving me advice and telling me of his past experiences... great guy to talk with. Everyone here at this forum has been very helpful and generous, to say the least. Its just been great to meet all sorts of enthusiasts who share the same love as myself.

As for the exhaust, I am going to look into the supersprint. I would be more than happy with the oem, but If I can get aftermarket, why not?
