I purchased my first BMW today, a Red 2003 Z4 2.5i. I purchased it from a Jeep/Chrsyler dealership and was told that it had the convience package. From what I have read on-line I don't believe that it does. I have the auto power soft top and cruise control, but don't have power seats, heated seats, or automatic climate control. It also has xenon headlights and fog lights. Can I get some help from everyone else who is in the know, for this lowly newbie....Thanks! I am not sure if it has rain-sensing wipers...how do I tell? Lastly, do you all think if I took it to my local BMW dealer that they would give me a tour of the car and show me the ins and outs, or would they just shun me away (I am in Louisville, KY by-the-way).

I believe in 2003 the conv. package did have auto soft top, auto climate control and I'm not sure what else, they change the packages every year.

You may be confusing the premium package with the convience package. Your local dealer should help you out. I would go to the service dept. for assistance. They have the most to gain and want to do your maintenance and warranty work.

iirc the convienience package had auto climate control & cargo nets
I want to also say that it also had rain sensing wipers, and automatic headlights...I think(not certain on that last one)

But imo just read the car's manual and keep reading the forums and you'll learn much more about your Z4 than any average salesperson ever could...

This is why I am confused, because it appears that all of these options were ordered a la carte since I have the power top, but not the auto climate control or auto head lights (but to have Xenon), how do I know if I have the rain sensing wipers?
