Hi i am 17 years old and i am looking for a old bmw(95-99) that can produce some speed. i like the M3 right now. what do you guys think is good and afforadable?

Ariel Atom 2. It's very fast, handles awesomely, and a brand new one is quite cheap. Plus, not many people have it. You go to your HS, and everyone will know that its your car.

i have looked those 318s and they only have 138 hp.

If you're after speed, there are better choices than BMW. Be prepared for some sarcastic replies, as most here would say that BMW's are bought for more mature reasons than simply "speed."
