 The 6 speed journey begins

Last night I took the driveshaft out of my car to start the enhancement procedure. Today I sent it to NY to get its length adjusted. We will continue to remove and adapt other pieces as we wait for its return.

We are going to replace the guibo, change the hose going to the clutch slave cylinder to a Z3 one as described by Ron, change the tranny selector "knuckle", and we'll be resizing the shifter carrier and the selector rod. By then the driveshaft should be back and hopefully everything will just "bolt up".

I'll keep you all informed of my progress.

I certainly do. It'll be installed in the knob I purchased from you at HC last year. Please bring one with you.
