I just purchased a 2001 Z3 3.0. Can anyone tell me which engine series this is (S52 or S54 or what), and does this car have 'drive-by-wire'?

M54 and it does have a DBW throttle.

Anybody knows what the 'other name' for the 1999 Z3 2.8 is? I've never really found that out...
