Compression Test / ID DME Master Relay

Hi All,

I have decided to do a compression test on my car in preparation for a possible supercharger purchase. I read the TIS which seems to say:

-Disconnect DME Master Relay
-Remove Spark Plugs
-Hold down accelerator while cranking

Does anyone have a pic of the DME Master Relay for me?

Thanks much

Well, I found three relays located near the ECU and pulled all of them which seemed to do the trick (i.e. the car wouldn't start).

Compression good at about 215 psi on all cylinders with them all being very close in pressure. So the next project is welding of the oil pump nut and installation of oil pan baffles (I figure as long as the pan is removed why not). Then I'm ready for my supercharger or turbo.

FYI: While the plugs were out, I checked the gap. It has been 12K miles since I put in the NGK Iridiums and the plug gap had opened significantly. I carefully gapped them back to .6mm. I guess that's a note to others using these plugs -- although they last a long time, you WILL need to regap them periodically.
