I bought a bottle of BMW top impreginator at the stealer today. You know . . . to "waterproof" the top. Read the directions . . and followed them! It just seems to me mixing the contents 10 to 1 with water is a bit of a stretch. Has anyone else used this stuff ? Does it work ?
Methinks I shoulda gone ahead and ordered some "Raggtopp" protectant. I know it works !

I use Ragtopp cleaner and protectant.
The cleaner dosent seen to work any better than soap and water but the protectant is

I don't believe you were taken. I purchased and have used this product over the last three years. The top is water tight and water beads when initially wet but sheets thereafter. The product has not discolored the top and I have been two years without another application. I haven't tried raggtop but will when I run out of this stuff.

We just had a pretty good thunderstorm. I did not see any beading on the top - it just looked soaked. I used Raggtopp for six years on my E36 convertible and it beaded water for at least three months after an application. The top never got "soaked wet". And the top looked new when I sold the car.
I still have 200 ml in the bottle and it's probably gonna be there years from now 'cause it looks like I'm going to order another can of Raggtopp!
