 Internet diagnosis please!

On my car, only when it is warmed to temperature, there is a ratcheting clicking sound coming from the front left that happens when turning right under load. The sound is speed dependent (more speed =more clicks)

Having checked a number of things under the car the only thing I can think of now is that the hub is going bad somehow, but I thought a bad hub made more of a woooshing type sound.

If it turns out to be the hub, how much do replacement cost and how hard is it to DIY.

Considering the car is as much for autocross and track as for regular driving, would it make sense to get the RRT racing hubs?

If it's the hub (wheel bearing), looks like you might need some special tools. Ron Stygar did a write-up on replacement.
