2000 M Coupe: I'm trying to remove the carpeted luggage compartment wheel-well panels to gain access to the rear show towers. I have removed all the plugs and screws holding these pieces to the body, but the cargo tie-downs are keeping these pieces from coming out. What's the secret to getting these panels out?
Anybody know?

There's a small piece of trim (plastic) inside the tie-down that covers the screws.
Did you already remove the sub-woofer console; more hidden fasteners behind it too?!
