 Xpel/Clear Bra Detailing

Maybe this is common knowledge, maybe not.

After I sold my Roadster I still had Meguiar's clear plastic polish and clear plastic cleaner that I had been using for the rear window. Since I've owned my coupe, I've been using the clear plastic products on my Xpel. They work great for removing bug stains. I washed my car today for the first time this year and I used the Meguiar's stuff.

I wax my Xpel too. Not sure what others are doing.

I wax mine too, but good to know about the bug stains, I was afraid I was just going to have to live with them

and I use the Meguiars and Autosol paste on mine. The Meguiars works well with a PC buffer too. I also wax the Xpel but I use Zymol Detail wax, no special reason, it's for flexible body parts do I figure it can't hurt. BTW nothing cleans the love bug stains off Xpel, the little bastiches!

Although I haven't found anything that works well on love bug and other bug stains on my Xpel, they always seem to disappear given time.

I assume a love bug is some Southern thing.

I also use the PC buffer on the Xpel.
