First Question for Bob the salesman... Or anyone who knows...
Hey Bob,
My brother is buying a new Acura RSX Type S (yes, I know its lame) and I was wondering what the tag and title fees were for new cars in florida? Is it a flat fee or a percentage?
I dont trust honda/acura salesmen any farther than I can throw them.

Thanks for your help! | The total fees (tax, tag, title) here in CA are usually around 9% of the sticker price. About 7.5% of that 9% is tax. If you know the tax in FL, you can get a pretty good estimate...

Taxes are all collected by the county, so unsure about anywhere but Hillsborough, which is 7% for the first $5000 and 6% for everything thereafter.
Title + Registration is approx. $150 in Hillsborough, also unsure if that's different depending on county or not.
