 M parallel on M coupe

I'm sure this horse has been beaten till it cried, but I can't seem to find a concrete answer, so I thought someone here could help.

The standard wheels are:
17 x 7.5 ET41 (F)
17 x 9 ET8 (R)

These are the wheels I want to put on my M Coupe:
18 x 8 ET13 (F)
18 x 9.5 ET25 (R)

E38 M parallel

OR maybe:
18 x 8 ET20 (F)
18 x 9 ET24 (R)
E39 M parallel

Or maybe a combination of E39/ET20 (F) and E38/ET25 (R)?

The real question is... Can I make these fit with some spacers or other adapters?

I've seen replicas on Coupes and really liked how they look, but would much rather have OEM wheels on the car.

Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

wow, do you have a picture of the M Parallel on the coupe? I'd love to see that. I had knock offs on my 535i back in the day. One of the best rim designs of all time IMO.

Rear, yes (with spacers). Front, highly unlikely. Offset is distance from center of wheel to the mounting face (where the wheel mates to the hub/rotor). Less positive offset means wheel will be further out; spacers would make it worse. Wit the ET20 wheels, you'd be going about 27.3mm further out than the stock wheels, assuming same tire width. With the ET13, you'd be 34.3mm further out. I don't think either is going to work.

Well, that sucks. I don't think I want the front wheel sticking out 1"+ from the fender. And I don't want to roll it either. Oh well, looks like it's replicas or some other wheel then.

Thanks for the help dwm!!

P.S. Thanks for the pics Renee!

5 spoke rims always look good. Haman PG2s look great on our cars too! So do ACS rims!
