 Subfloor/Diff mount cracking question

While doing my IE bushings with the subframe dropped I got a real good look at the diff mount and subfloor. Sure enough, my diff mount is starting to crack every so slightly... Subfloor looks just fine from below though, no gaps or signs of pulled spotwelds. I'll have to check from above sometime.

How much time do you think I have before I do the Randy Forbes(tm) fix?

I ask because I am moving within the next two months, buying a condo and will have zero money for some time... I don't drive the car much anyways and I don't launch it. I do corner very aggressively however. I have no idea how the car was driven before I bought it.

Tick, tick, tick...

Seiously though, I doubt anyone can accurately answer that question. The important thing is that you know about it and you know where to look. Just keep checking on it and make your determination based on your future findings.

Hi Renee, send me an E-mail and I will reply with an FAQ that outlines the work and lists prices. erandyforbes@aol.com

How'd you like the work I did on Dale's cars?

You should do that check on the top. That's a major variable. Unfortunately, we don't know the rest of the equation, but looking on-top will give you a good idea how far along the problem is.

The work on Dale's cars is top quality! Wow, his cars are flawless. Not even any scratches under the front bumpers.
