hehehe.... just a quik heart warmin story bout my 1st day with my 1st BMW (just sold my Benz S500)... Picked up my 2006 550i yesterday afternoon... Black Sapphire w/Black Leather... Almost all options... Even had them install laser/radar JAMMER (K-40) at the dealership! So tight! So much car!... so me and my girlfriend drive off into the sunset, stop by my parents place to show off the new ride, stop by my boys place to show off the ride... okay... so we head out to this big art opening event... navi says we're 2 minutes away (literally) when I come across a detour in the road... cruise around a corner doin about 20mph... see a chunk of asphalt in the road the size of a basketball and steer around it... dont see the pot hole on the side of the road! yep! i blow out my 4 hour old tire! after sittin stunned on the side of the road for 5 minutes i hit the BMW roadside assist. they say an hour to send a tow truk to put my spare on for me... haha! i say i'll do it myself but after gettin out, an takin a closer look (it was dark!)... 2 blown tires! 2 drastically bent rims! well... my dealers closed today... closed tomorrow... long story short (lol) my new baby sits sadly in the parkin lot at the dealership. just wanted to vent i guess... oh well...
