i recently purchased a 2001 z3 and live in the bay area. my question is, would you take it in to a shop for a once over and/or service as it's new to me? can anyone recommend a place or should i head for a dealer?
car info: 22,000 miles with one green bar left on the service meter. only thing going on with the car is that the "service engine soon" yellow warning stays on intermittently.?

One thing you should do for sure is an oil change. Always the most important... For the rest, I don't know from the top of my head...
