Discount from BMW Nashville (Jay Lilley?)

I had called to speak with Jay for the first time lastweek to order a 3 page list of parts. He was on vacation so I spoke with Bob. I told Bob I was from the Bimmerfest forums and that Randy / Ron suggested BMW Nashville/Jay Lilley for a good price. Checked pricing on one part and it was the best price I had been quoted yet (this was based on the discount Ron/Randy was getting). But when he faxed me the prices a week later, they were much, much higher. Turns out that Jay told Bob that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can he give me the same discounts that are given to Randy or Ron. Am I missing something here? The price diff. betw. South BMW and BMW of Nashville was only a few bucks, but the free shipping on orders over $500 is nice. Plus they are over 700 miles closer to me.

Any comments/thoughs/suggestions?

Recent pricing done by someone I know was similar. Best prices after shopping around, in this case, were at Pacific BMW (by quite a margin). Appears that Jay's prices are not the same for everyone

Well, in Jay's defense, please keep in mind that I (and possiblyl Ron) place several orders per week. Frequently, a single order will be a thousand dollars or more (net, not list).

I will continue to recommend Jay Lilley because the attention to service he offers is the best I have encountered; any money saved on parts is a secondary benefit.
