 Pad sensor routing?

I hope everyone is having a better morning than I am.
I jumped in the roadster this morning to go to work and when I drove forward there was a grinding noise. Not in reverse tho.. It sounded like I was dragging a piece of sheet metal, da#m, it was BAD! I got out, looked under the car and didn't see anything hanging, or caught. I jacked up the front of the car, put jack stands under it and removed the front wheels. The passenger side was fine, no noise. At the driver's side the noise was there whenever I turned the wheel forward. Voila! Somehow the dust shield got bent into the rotor I thought. So, I removed the wheel, and started to remove the caliper. When I went to take out the pad sensor, it wasn't there !?!. I found it still attached to the wire, but it had traveled up, over the top of the hub and was stuck between the dust shield and the rotor. As soon as I fished it out, the noise stopped.

Anyway, here's the question. Does anyone have a photo of how to route the sensor wire? I can see several methods, but some don't make sense, and seem like the wire will pull out when I turn the wheel to the right.

Got to go. I'm only 2 hours late for work now.
Thanks for any and all help!
Dave

Thanks. I checked out the photos. That routing isn't exactly like mine. On my car, the connector box is mounted high on the inside of the wheel well, and the wire goes towards the front of the car, then around the outside of the shock/strut where it is held by a plastic clip. To get from there to the split in the brake pad is my quandry.

Also, should there be a little clip around the sensor end that holds it in the pad? If so, I need one.
