California Beemer is a used car dealership that specialized in BMW. They are off the I-405 in Santa Monica if I remember correctly. Never been there, just drove by there when I used to work out in West L.A.

I would definitely have a pre-purchase inspection performed by a dealer or good indy shop. That said, I haven't heard anything negative about them... just the "used car lot" stigma.
