I am considering installing some Magnaflows (14815's) and I am getting concerned about reports saying that they are just too loud. I am a speed junky kind of guy and I think that a car such as the MCoupe needs to have a little bark to go with it's ability. That said, I am not the kind of guy that wants to wear earplugs for long road trips. I want to enjoy listening to the radio and not be exhausted by my exhaust... he he. I also don't want to pay the price for some Supersprints. Oh yeah, and I am married so the wife playes a role in this. So let me hear it from some Magnaflow dudes. Thanks |

Loudness is in the ear of the beholder. I have magnaflows on my car. I think they're loud, especially at low rpm's. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably go with supersprint.
Best thing to do is come to HC and listen to all the alternatives.

yeah, I would like the supersprints but I am saving up for a twin screw supercharger kit. I typically don't mind loud exhaust, it's just my wife... she no like. I just want a deep free flowing exhaust without much rasp.

Mine were loud, but not that bad. I just simply didn't like the sound. I have B&B normal, which could be louder.

What about the sound did you not like? Was it too raspy, tone not deep enough, etc.? They say that the tone deepens over time and that the sound quality just gets better eventually.
