Need advice for good alignment shop in LA area

Gonna have new tires put on the coupe tommorow and I wanna get the alignment all spec'd out properly. Should I just take it to Assael BMW? or does anyone know of a reputable shop that can handle the coupe?

I know Santa Monica isn't exactly convenient for you..... but Stokes Tire in Santa Monica knows M Roadsters and Coupes, even with KMAC bushings for rear alignment. See discussion at http://bimmerfest.com/forums/showthr...53#post1081953 for names. You will need an appointment.

ALSO: Every tire place that I've gone to messes up our rims. I have NOT used Stokes for tire work yet, but the local BMW gang assures me that they can do our rims without messing them up.

An alternative: European Motor Works, a small but good shop in Arcadia, has an alignment shop they like. Call John Handal at EMW (a BMW master mechanic formerly at Assael)and ask for his suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestions! Just got the car back from Costco Tire in Rancho Cucamonga and they did a great job of not scratching the rims. I told them before that I would like their best guy on it since there is not a scratch on any rim. They also assured me that they would buy me a new rim if they did scratch it. Nice policy. They also use nitrogen! Yay! Funny thing is my slight right pull is gone now . I think this is the 2nd time a Kuhmo MX tire has gone bad on me towards the end. On my E36 M3 the cord seperated and it became slightly off balance. This time the outside edge on the right started to wear a little faster towards the end. Now everything is back to normal and the car tracks true with a lot less tramlining. I went with 225/45 F and 255/40 R this time instead of the 235/45 F. Used BFG RE750's and they ride nice!

I still might take it out to Stokes after I put on my rear bushings tho just to make sure everything is in good order.

btw, if I change out the subframe bushings to the IE ones, will I need to get a alignment aftwards?
