 Alignment Advice?

Anyone have any alignment advice for an '02 Roadster with a stock suspension? The car is not out but after 3 years, it is time for an alignment!

1. Should I go to the dealer for this one? I can't recall if BMW specifies weighting or preloading the suspension which is typically a dealer only job.

2. Any changes to stock specs worth considering?

TIA!

The only "alignment spec" that is readily adjustable is the front toe setting.

To change any other dimension (castor, camber, rear toe/camber) requires the installation of aftermarket components. Some are easier to install than others...

One discussion, focusing on rear alignment issues, is at http://bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49733. This includes some discussion of front specs.

Search on "alignment" here and you'll have a day's worth of reading.
