there's actually been one of those driving around dtown Houston

reminds me of that Hyundai (or Kia) commericial where everyone is driving construction equipment. We're not that far off anymore. From what i've read, however, lately there's been a downturn in truck-based SUV sales (Expedition, et al) and an increase in "cross-over" sales. step in the right direction, i suppose.

about five years ago, I was returning home to Louisiana from a job in Corpus Christi and came up on one (Ford F-650). As you approach from a distance on an otherwise deserted road, you just think it's an average p/u that is much closer, it just takes longer to catch up to it.

Looks like a bomb disposal truck. I like it in the same way I like Unimogs.

Special kudos to the 270 degree sweep gauges.

our company has three version of this truck-

CXT- 8500 International cab w/ 4-wheel drive
RXT- 4200 International cab w/ 2-wheel drive (pictured here)
MXT- military version

fyi-
if you have an F-250/350, there is a way to have the same 270 degree sweep mode. Very Aston Martin.
