 Kick Panel Speakers not working

Does anyone know if there is a fuse to check if both of my kick panel speakers have gone out? I find it hard to believe that they could both have blown simultaneously. Feedback appreciated. 1999 Z3 2.3 W/ Business Radio.

Thanks

Think amplifier first. Not sure if your car came with the separate amp but it'd be my first suspect.

Do you know where the separate amp would be if I had one?

In the trunk, to the left of the driver's side trunk hinge, behind the grey trunk liner.

What speaker setup do you have - front only, or front and rear? Z3s with front and rear speakers have an amp, but I'm not sure of earlier models.

My kick panel speakers did the same thing... could not find a fix even with the expert help here and others on car audio forums.

I had to replace the speakers with aftermarkets and an aftermarket amp. Every other speaker was working. This happened after i disconnected my sub. Originally, was just supposed to replace the sub and add an aftermarket amp in conjunction with our Harmon Kardon system.

I am actually glad they didn't work.. gave me an excuse to put in more stuff, and besides it sounds excellent with fronts and a 10" sub.

I know this didn't help much.

Mine was on the passenger side of the trunk, just forward of the ///M Mobility system. Poke around in the trunk and you should be able to find it, presuming you have a separate amp.
