I know this has been beaten like a dead horse, but...

Thinking of putting a CAI on the 2000 2.8 Roadster. I don't really like the ones that put the filter underneath the car so that if I run over a puddle I suck water into the engine.(OK, not really, but you know what I mean)

The Conforti and ECIS look basically the same. Different brand filter, but both have the heatsheilds, etc. The Conforti costs $100 more. Is there a $100 difference. Being of Scotch-Presbyterian ancestry that extra $100 is like pulling teeth!

Any thoughts?
