How do you ship a hard top?

I have a hard top in baltimore that I want to get down here to florida. Anyone know of a good service that can get it here without destroying it? I am afraid that the drive will just about kill me in one weekend.

Do you have the original packing crate, or did your top come with the car new? You might check with dealers up there to see if they have any packing crates from tops ordered as a non OEM item. I use my packing crate hardware to store my top on the garage wall.

I bought it used. No crate. Delivered as is. Its in good shape though. How much does a crate cost?

When Andy and I shipped interiors, we built a crate and used Amtrak. Very cost effective and very fast. But limited delivery stops.

Mine came with the top when I ordered it. Call a dealer. I'm sure some (most) people do not keep their shipping crates and the dealer would work something out with you.

Hate to break it to you but your coupe already has a hard top.
