Break Lights and Warning Sound
Hi,
I bought a used 2002 Z3 last week and I am currently facing a problem. I don't have the manual and am a complete novice to the various switches etc on the console. After I switch off the engine, I am getting a beeping sound. The breaklights and side lights were not going off. I donno how to fix it. Appreciate any replies.

Thanks | Don't know if the M cars are different or not, but what you are describing sounds like what my '02 M coupe does if I turn off the engine but not the headlight switch. The parking lights (front, side, and tail lights) remain on and a buzzer sounds. However the BRAKE lights do not come on.
