Ladies and gentlemen, i've received calls (now that the weather's finally nice out) here and there about the actual convertible top getting stuck on it's way up/down......what do you do?

Well just as a friendly reminder try this on your Z4's

(according to your manual's) it states:

If the opening or closing procedure has been interrupted due to an electrical malfunction, the convertible top will remain in that position for 15 minutes....The procedure can be resumed in the desired direction by pressing the button. After that, the convertible top can can be moved again and, if it is an emergency situation, you may have to help the top along manually. This can also be done in ignition key position 0.
