I was rerunning the GPS cable for my Traffic Pro, and in the process of extracting and inserting the head unit, I dislodged the stereo alarm switch. It took me 1/2 an hour to get my hands in and put the damn thing back. Me and my Popeye arms could barely fit in through the opening (I had spent the previous 45 minutes reinstalling the passenger glove box area, so I wasn't about to remove it again!
Who was the friggin genius who designed this thing so that the sensor/switch fits behind a flat panel, and can be dislodged by the head unit finger it's looking for? It's got two ridges, top and bottom, that are what click it into place onto the flat panel, and that's probably what I nudged with the finger.
Sorry, just had to vent for a sec.
