I live in New England where cold is an understatment in the winter. I have always warmed up my car for 10-15 min prior to driving. I have been reading recently its a better idea to drive the car at cold low rpm's. Any opinions?

The car warms up faster if driven .
I drive right away but take it really slow and easy.
