My Aux fan on my S52 M coupe (build date 11/99) is not working (no worky w/A/C on, nor at high ambient temps) and going through the troubleshooting via the Bentley manual, it says to check 5A Fuse #16 (which is good) and 30A Fuse #40...

Well, my car has no connected Fuse #40: the empty slot where it should plug in has no connectors for an electrical connection. I cannot seem to locate any reference to different fuse box configurations for different build dates. The fuse box also references 40A Fuse #48 (located underneath the steering wheel) for the Aux fan, but I find no reference of this fuse in the Bentley manual.

Of note, the A/C works (for now) and blows cold air. I did just replace the fan-clutch which burned out yesterday, hence my discovering this aux fan issue as well.

Any clues on this?
