 battery killer

My recently purchased 2000 m coupe cannot sit for more than a couple of days before the battery is drained. It appears that the computer is not powering down the accessories after the car is turned off. Is this a common problem? Add a manual kill switch to the electronics or replace the computer?

You have to measure the current draw. Z3 specification is 30ma max. The trick is to add the meter without disconnecting the battery. I'll try to post a how to on how do this in the next few days.
