I saw a Z3 the other day with chrome all over. I thought it was aftermarket, but it turns out that it was part of some chrome package.

One part I particularly liked was the chrome trim around the front wind shield. The #s are:

Chrome Windshield Trim (L) $72.28 51-16-8-398-505
Chrome Windshield Trim (R) $72.28 51-16-8-398-506

I wanted to know if this is something that can be retro fitted or not. I've spoken to several dealers about this, and I'm getting conflicted answers.

Main point is that I don't want to have to buy the parts only to find out that it doesn't fit, and sit around with worthless pieces of metal.

Any info on this matter would be much appreciated.
