 Continuous battery Drain

Hi all. I have a continuous battery drain (it dead in 7-14 days) BAttery is new, alternator passes the tests. It appears to be the factory alarm or factory radio, but I wondered if anybody had found a particular item causing this. Thanks for all your suggestions!!

You'll need a meter that can read current. remove one of the battery cables to put the meter in series (DO NOT crank over the engine; you'll turn the meter to toast). If you have a current draw, the meter will indicate it. Unplug your radio and then the alarm to see which is pulling the battery down.

If it isn't either of those two devices, it has to be something. Keep pulling fuses, one by one until the circuit is open. Please note, there are fuses hidden all over the car...

I have a 330 XI 05 and have had car less than 7 weeks. Two days in a row car was dead in AM. Dealership had it for week and thought they fixed it. Drove two times the next day and it was dead the following day. They have had it for three days and can not find the issue. This is ridiculous. I wanted this car to drive not keep in the shop. At what point can a person say enough - give me a new car --- you guys fix and drive it.

Nick
