I finally got the diff done. Now I gotta bolt this one in.
Here are a few pix...
40+ % lockup. Its an interesting build though. Places like bimmerworld and korman tend to just add another friction plate in the diff by replacing one of the spacers on the drivers side. This one is custom milled on the passenger side to accept another clutch disk and spacer. Thats at least how it was explained to me. The guy works on Grand Am M3s most of the time tranny's and diffs so he seems to know his stuff. New seals, new fittings, clutch plates, spacers, etc. Its pretty..
And he cleaned it up nice too!

Schweet. What's the weight difference between new and old?

If there is any weight difference, I would assume that if anything, it would be only a few ounces either way.
Now, the shortened, lightened driveshaft does save a few pounds...

Very nice looking, so who did the work and the cost?

A local guy here. He did good work, but he had the mill work done at a machine shop. I dont know all the details, and I will give a review when I have had time to try it out.
