 Sway bars for M Coupe

It was recently suggested to me by a former racer who now limits himself to building and maintaining race cars for several clients, that I consider upgrading my swaybars before making any changes to shocks and springs. His idea was that it would limit body roll for HPDEs, and not increase ride harshness. This would be less expensive than shocks and springs, and these could be added later if required. Has anybody taken this path?

I put H&R bars on my M. They do increase harshness (a little), but not as much as bars and stiffer springs. The bars and more camber up front make it corner like its on rails.

In general sways do not increase street hashness and therefore an excellent upgrade for dual purpose cars.

I have RD Sport bars on the M Roadster, but mainly because the H&Rs weren't yet available. Will Turner pushed H&R into doing the bars because he wasn't totally happy with the RD Sport bars. But they work very well.

The other quick and easy mod for better handing is to swap the front strut hats to gain more negative camber in the front.

edit: nevermind, misread.
