 Sears Craftsman Club

Sears stores no longer honor the 10% off Craftsman Club discount week that occured once a month. They will if an item is in the flyer.
Bad decision.

This came up trying to purchase their (GearWrench) four wrench rachet set ($69.99), (13/16 > 1 inch) along with some other things. Since it's a not a Craftsman item (KD Tools) it didn't matter.

Ended up buying it with some other things from tooltopia.com for $62.74 (no tax). Since the other things went over $99, shipping (20 pounds) was free. Ordered last Thursday and the stuff showed up last Friday. Hard to beat.

Also was planning on ordering some stuff from Caswell Plating (Definite money pit).

Ran it by Daniel (DWM) assuming he has been there and he said their service is excellent.
Ordered today (Monday) and received an email saying the order will be delivered today (Tuesday).

A couple of months ago I bought some gear wrenches at Sears and got the 10% off. If they are not honoring the club card discount, they will lose some of my business.

Actually I bought that jack (you mentioned) on sale a few years ago that brought me back in the storefor the first time in a long time.

Oh well

One of the things I like about Caswell is that they're one of the few plating/coating places that don't treat hobbyists (as opposed to professionals) like subhumans. And the forums they host are a useful resource.

Definitely a potential money pit. I've got their triple chrome plating kit on my wish list, and it's likely I'll buy the Cyclone 4224 blasting cabinet and collector from them instead of somewhere else.
