What are the pro's and con's of using a non stock transmission mount on the street? One thing I understand, is they can reduce the chance of a missed shift.
I have found two so far.
Are there other brands out there?
This is the Rogue one:

I have them on my coupe. They helped with the engagement problems I would have with 3rd gear WOT shifts. I noticed only a very minor increase in sound from the drivetrain. Recommended!

You could try asking Raffi what he thinks. He has been trying different ones on his car for various reasons and could probably give you some pros and cons.

I am not having any luck posting more then one picture in a post. What am I doing wrong?
This is the UUC one.
The responses I am getting all agree the mount helps shifting 2nd to 3rd. The responses are mixed on how noticable the added noise is in the cabin. As well as how much additional vibration is felt.
I am cautious about changing parts before I check out all the options.
There is also the Ring enforcer for a stock mount to consider.
The research goes on.

We also have the conversion of stock mount to the 320i mount.
This change requires enlarging the support bracket from 8mm holes to 10mm. Stock is on the right.

I went with the UUC TME package, which included upgraded mounts and those metal cups you see in the picture.
I experienced very little, if any, extra noise in the car. There is a procedure on the UUC website for people who have significant vibration issues after installation, but I had none of those problems.
