 Speaking of blowing a fortune...

Hey Max, TRY THIS!

The red turbo Coupe project is just about finished; all it lacks is for Active Autowerke to send me the correct 3-1/2" HFM (supposed to be included in kit, but was left out...).

Complete start to finish of the actual turbo installation is here.

Please note that the head gasket shim was shown in a separate thread.

Good grief. Is there anything that Randy can't do?

Nope. especially now that he's armed with this!

Drool. I gotta wait till amazon.com screws up and offers it for 30 bucks like they did with the E36 one.

Now, how do you know that; Amazon listed me as having purchased one?

I'll have to use an alias when buying seedy novels...

Getting back on topic, the turbo Coupe is in a holding pattern waiting for a second 3-1/2" HFM (and another harness/scaler) to show up from AA. Turns out the one I received on Thursday was putting out 4.86 vdc at idle; WAY to much fuel being called for.

Parts expected to arrive on Monday, will update then.
