 free faded badge fix

I noticed alot of faded badge problems. I also noticed that the dealer wants more money for new badges than I would like to pay. So I decided to go to a place that had a large selection of vinyl (such as a Sign Pro, etc.) and buy the right colors. When he looked at the size of the badge I was planning on renewing he decided to just give me the scraps he had for free. I repeatedly tried to pay him, but think about the size of the three /// strips.

Next step was to carefully place the vinyl in place, cut it to shape with a razor blade and presto... a good as new ///M badge that I had some pride in making. It took me about 5-10 minutes per badge (give or take a couple of re-do's) but they look just as good as new with the added bonus of freeness "cha-ching" and you get the satisfaction that you did a job well done.

I'll try to post some pics when I figure it out.
