 Help with check Engine Code

I just got A check engine light, I have a Peake Tool
Does anyone have any idea What these codes mean.
Chart 16
code number one is Cb (the chart says) Oxygen sensor control limit Cyl 4-6
code number two is E4 (the chart says) Oxygen sensor adaption limit Cyl 4-6
I give up? what is this telling me!

Is there a reference Book or list that I can get that will till me what to do now that I have the information of what the code is.

What good is a tool when I can't use it. I now need the next step how to interpret the code or codes.

I like to find out so I can Dive down to Bimmerfest 05 this weekend
Thanks as always
Mike

Those faults point to a bad pre-cat O2 sensor. Unless this is a low mileage car they should be replaced in pairs. Failing pre-cat sensors need to be dealt with soonest since they are a critical part of the engine management system and are used for feedback for mixture control.

The light goes off automatically after X number of "good" starts with no error codes.

My CEL goes off after I drive it really hard for 30-minutes to an hour, like on a track or in the mountains, especially in the summer.

I need to check my codes as well. O2 sensors seem to fail on a lot of cars, so, it's common.

I got my M Roadster back today, I did not realize how the important the Pre and post O2 sensors are. I took it out and it just took off! I have so much more power now. I then took it to get the wheels balanced. What a difference it made, like a whole new car.
Thanks for all your help
Mike

They really are important when it comes to calculating mixutre and timing advance. It's the rear ones that are smog purposes only.
