I have camber plates and only drive on the street. I know they were not needed for the street. I see that the expensive tires are being eaten alive on the inside. Not to mention the pain it is to have someone change a tire without damaging the wheel. They are almost down to the belts. Crap. If I was an autox or track junkie I would know its the cost of doing the deed. |

Check the toe setting. The closer you get to 0 toe, the less wear you will get from teh camber.
Oh, and the other thing that will help, corner harder.

As pinecone suggested, check toe. You have camber plates... don't be afraid to use 'em!

they're also adjustable, you can always minimize the camber setting if zeroing the toe still isn't sufficient
I'm sure somebody would love to trade their OE strut mounts for them too if you just want to get out of them altogether

These are the Dinan fixed position plates. I don't think I need to grind the tires down for the "spirited" driving portion of my trips. All of life is a trade off. The 200$ a tire thing combined with the hassle of having them changed, makes the added bite in turns less attractive. I could pay to have the toe setting checked. That would wear off the inside 10% of the tire huh? I was going to pull them out and replace the studs that had to be removed when I installed them. I guess there is maybe 10K miles on the tires? Not really sure. But let me say this. The rears have lots o' tread on them.
