Tools:

36mm 12 point socket. I have a Sears and SK one. Both are sloppy with Sears being the worse. Haven't found a BMW solution but will check with Jay. Snap-on one is $49.00.

As a side note: Why I have two 36mm sockets is from evaluating JTDesign original RSM's (rear shock mounts).
The original design was torqued to 80 lb-ft if I remember right. Instead of using the nut spec for the nut, they used a Sears socket for the spec. Any quality socket would not fit the nut that they made. Some of the Sears ones would but not all. I sent them the nut spec.










I didn't know that retaining ring pliers came in four sizes. Not many available in the four inch range.
