UUC Tranny Mounts: Red or Black?

A buddy of mine gave me a pair of 3-week old UUC Red tranny mounts with TME cups which he had on his E46 325i. He bought an E46 M3 last weekend and is putting his 325i back to stock for sale.

Are these red ones the proper ones to use?

Also, does anyone know if the E46 325 ones will fit the M Coupe? From UUC's site, these look to be a universal fit...

Thanks!

I don't know if they fit, but I THINK that they should.

As for which ones to use, the red ones are stiffer than the black ones. I have red ones on our Roadster, with the TME AL cups to make them even stiffer. Yes, there is a bit more NVH, but not much. The trick is don't tighten ANY of the fasteners until the tranny weight is on the mounts, then torque them to the proper value, which is pretty low.

I do have a set of black ones that I bought that never got used, since the red ones came out and I got a set of them.

Not sure about the application, but the Reds with TMEs are fine for me Ben. No intrusive harshness.

I must say Red w/ TME. I love the rumble that goes up teh seats. Its not like runing open dump, quite, and when you rev it it feels good.

When installing the new mounts, NE1 know what would the bolt torque specs be for the bushings and the cross member?
